Francesco Stelitano (Sarzana, b.1982) is a freelance photographer. He grew up in the north west coast of Italy only a couple of hours from Florence that with its museum had a huge impact on him. Developed an interest in art and visual comunication while attending an high school focused on arts. He received a BA in Multimedia Arts from the Academia di Belle Arti in Carrara (Academy of Fine art). While attending last years at the academy of fine arts he starts working as a studio and still life photographer. In order to satisfy his passion for documentary photography in 2009 he attended the MA in Photojournalism an Documentary Photography at the London College of Communication, University of Arts in London where he graduated last december with honor. His works was exhibited in Italy and in London at the Host Gallery among other UK venues. On January 09 he won the 3rd prize of the competition Document organized by the n.g.o. War on Want.
